New District Rules-
A- ¾” or wider bright yellow marking tape or band on all 2.4
transmitters that can be seen easily by the CD while driver is
holding the transmitter. suggested placings are around radio base or
antenna.
B- All District points race fees will be calculated and paid by check at
the conclusion of each race
C- Drivers must have alternate frequencies with them at all times
at sanctioned races. Should combining heat(s) or run-offs require frequency
changes, driver with high points has choice (for run offs driver with best
placings has choice i.e.- 2 firsts vs. 1 first). Any person who needs to change
due to combining heats or run-offs and does not will receive zero
(0) points for any heat or forfeit run-off for not being able to change. Any
driver using 2.4 spread spectrum is obviously exempt from this rule.
District Points Classes for 2008- please note there are changes & additions-
B mono, Open Nitro Mono, B hydro, D hydro, E hydro, F hydro, B o/b
tunnel, D o/b tunnel, Sport 40, 1/8 scale, LSG Stock, LSG Mono, LSG Catamaran,
LSG Ourigger, LSG sport hydro, LSG Classic Thunderboat, Open Catamaran,
Open Offshore
Also results at each district race will only be counted for high points
if the class has at least 4 boats that make at least one heat at that race.
In addition, a minimum of 20 boats total must run by the end of the season. Note
that each club is free to add additional non-high points classes as they see
fit.
Each club should provide a list of frequencies being used by its members. This
list can be compiled at the district level and added to the district web site to
help race organizers anticipate frequency problems. It will also be useful in
helping new club members pick a frequency.
District races should start as early as practical and be run as efficiently as
possible. Late starts and long delays between heats reduce the amount of racing.
The members of a club that is running a district race should remember that their
first priority is to their guests from out of town, not their own district
points. When you attend other club's races, they will do their best to return
the hospitality you extended to them.

In order to help the growth of the club we will be dropping off flyers to the local hobby shops advertising our club.
Site Rules and Regulations
As per the agreement with the Upper Occoquan Sewage Authority and the Capitol RC Model Boat Club to use the site at the Millard H. Robbins, Jr Regional Water Reclamation Plant it requires membership in the Capitol club other than for sanctioned races, which outside participants are considered visiting guests for that event. This was a specific requirement dictated by UOSA, not the Capitol club, as they want the club to be responsible for overseeing who can access the site for running model boats there. One will be in direct violation of the IMPBA insurance rules that specifically requires a minimum of 2 current IMPBA card holding members to be present at all times any sanctioned pond is in use, even for practice. Running there by yourself not only violates the IMPBA rules but more importantly your actions jeopardize the very agreement the Capitol Club has with the UOSA.
